In addition to creating and exhibiting her art work, Lisa Kirk has worked as an interior designer and prop stylist for more than 20 years. She was an integral part of Martha Stewart's editorial design team from 1998-2003. Later she went on to work as a floral and event designer with David Beahm Experiences, and editorial art directed interiors for such magazines as Vogue, Architectural Digest, Marie Claire, Dwell, Wallpaper and Elle Decor. In 2014, Kirk moved to the Hudson Valley where she completely redesigned a residence in Palenville, Ny, which she used as an Airbnb until a client fell in love with the house and purchased the property! She is now completing a minor renovation and updating the design of her family country cabin, Apple Hill, and has also purchased NeuHaus to redesign as well. Kirk also has a shop in Woodstock, NY called Legion-Trade where she curates carefully selected design, art and furniture and offers design consultation services...

Project proposal includes a swimming pond, hot tub, fishing, a smoke house and shared out door kitchen. Following an extensive renovation, High Woods House will be open to host guests and artist residencies in early 2018.
