Lisa Kirk (b. New York City, 1967) is an artist and curator who's projects investigate the contradictions of consumerism and the aestheticization of formerly politically radical signifiers. She has exhibited throughout the United States and internationally. In 2007, a solo exhibition of her work, REVOLUTION!, traveled from PS1 Contemporary Art Center, to Galeria Comercial, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Steven Wolf Fine Art, San Francisco, CA. Her curated projects have been held at the NADA Art Fair, Miami, John Connelly Presents, NYC, Scope Art Fair, NY and Hamptons, Andrew Kreps Gallery,NY, Kirk projects have been reviewed favorably by The New York Times, Art in America, Artforum, The Guardian, Time Out London and New York, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, and ArtReview among other publications.
